Dasara / Navaratri in Karnataka
Mysuru Dasara is world-famous, but households across Karnataka observe Navaratri with golu / bombe display, temple visits, Ayudha Puja for tools and vehicles, and Vijayadashami as a day of victory and often Shami / Ayudha related customs. Deepavali week
For many Kannada families, Naraka Chaturdashi morning oil bath and lighting lamps matter as much as the Lakshmi Puja evening.
