Chaldean name number � what it is
Chaldean numerology assigns values 1�8 to letters by vibration (9 is sacred and not assigned to a letter). Summing a name and reducing to a single digit yields a destiny / name number with traditional meanings. Spellings matter: "Kumar" and "Kumaar" can differ.

What each system is actually counting
Lo Shu maps the digits of your date of birth onto a 3×3 grid and talks about planes (thought, will, action) and missing/repeated numbers. Chaldean name numerology assigns values to letters in a name (usually with compound numbers left partly unreduced in classical style) and interprets personality or "name vibration." They answer different questions: Lo Shu is birth-date structure; Chaldean is label-of-identity structure. Comparing them is useful; merging them into one "destiny score" is not.

Imagine a birth date that shows a strong action plane in Lo Shu but a missing thought-plane number. A gentle reading might suggest building planning habits (journals, checklists) without claiming the person "cannot think." Separately, a Chaldean look at their official name might emphasise a compound number linked with responsibility. Those two sentences can coexist: one is about date patterns, one about name symbolism. Neither overrides medical, financial, or legal advice.
